Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch the MonoDevelop.
2. Create a solution of MonoTouch Single View application.
3. Right click on project name and select Add>>New Folder.
4. Provide a name.
5. Now right click on added folder name and add .jpg, .gif, .png images.
6. Double click on Info.plist file.
7. Click on App Icons boxes.
8. Click on Folder name.
9. See only .gif files are displayed on Select Icon pop up window.
Only .png extension image files are appear on select icon pop up window when user upload App icon. Refer the attached screenshot.
User should be able to use .jpg, .gif files.

Actually, this is not a bug, JPG and GIF files are not allowed for the various icon files in the application
User able to upload .png format image.hence closing this issue.
