Description Rolf Bjarne Kvinge [MSFT] 2011-07-14 06:08:20 UTC
If you have an invalid provisioning profile, you'll get this in the build output:

Building: Project (Debug|iPhone)

Detecting signing identity...

---------------------- Done ----------------------

Build: 1 error, 4 warnings

In other words you have to guess the problem from the fact that it was detecting signing identities.
Comment 1 Chris Toshok 2011-07-22 12:47:33 UTC
Does the error/warning list show anything?
Comment 2 Miguel de Icaza [MSFT] 2011-07-22 14:01:53 UTC
Agreed, we need to show a much better error than that.
Comment 3 Rolf Bjarne Kvinge [MSFT] 2011-07-25 11:36:48 UTC
Yes, an error is shown in the error list, but at the time I didn't notice (I was probably looking at the build output and it didn't occur to me that an error would be in the error list but not in the build output).
Comment 4 Mike Krüger 2011-08-22 09:37:18 UTC
the errors got added to the list as errors, but not to the output monitor :(

fixed.

I don't know how to fix this. Can someone help me? I press "Create" button and this error always shows up.
Any help is much appreciated! :)

@Ricardo, please file a new bug, this issue was closed 7 years ago :) Your problem is certainly something different (even though it might look similar)
